
BunBury & pemberton
Pemberton is approximately midway between Augusta and Albany and makes an excellent base for 4WD touring the nearby D'entrecasteaux National Park to the south.
The spectacular wildflower displays are renowned in this part of Western Australia.
Karri Valley Resort
The unique Karri Valley Resort, located 18 km from Pemberton, utilises and compliments the unique qualities of this diverse region.
Nestled in the giant Karri Forest adjacent to Beedelup National Park lies 300 acres of untouched bushland located on the banks of the 52 acre trout filled Lake Beedelup.

Climbing Trees
The Gloucester Tree is the worlds tallest fire lookout tree and is only 3km from Pemberton's Post office. Climbing it is definitely not for the faint-hearted.
The Dave Evans Bicentennial Tree was opened around 4 years ago as a tourist attraction and is the tallest climbing tree in the world - 75metres tall -it does however have a platform half way up for a breather.
There are free gas BBQ's and shelters at the base. This is located in the Warren National Park (approx 10 min from town)
The Beedelup Falls
The Beedelup Falls are absolutely beautiful- over 100 metres of falls and cascades with walking trails around ( wheelchair accessible )and over the falls and to a lookout over Lake Beedelup.
The Cascades are another wonder - only 5km from town the tram ride actually passes through and stops at the Cascades. - Enquire at the tourist centre.
Yeagarup Dunes are magnificent and an amassing phenomena - landlocked dunes creeping through the forest, leaving devastation in its path - 4WD access only.
Warren Beach and River
Warren Beach and Warren River - mouth of the river is accessible by 4WD only - there are tours available - however talk to the Pemberton Tourist Centre in regards to these (Freecall 1800 671 133) Warren River through the forest is fantastic for canoeing. (again tours available 1800 671 133) Big Brook Dam and Arboretum - only 5km from town - sandy beaches - a fantastic swimming, fishing and walking spot in a regrowth forest with a wheelchair friendly walking trail around its perimeter.
Pemberton is halfway between Walpole (127km) and Augusta (127km) making it an ideal place to base yourself and explore the best there is to offer in Western Australia's beautiful South West corner.

Perth Airport, which has both international and domestic terminals, is around 15km (9 miles) north east of the city, along the Great Eastern Highway.
The journey should take approximately 30 minutes depending on traffic conditions. Taxis, hire cars and airport shuttle buses are available.
